Swing Dancing

So next week I'm thinking about taking a group of us down to Pullman/Moscow area to go swing dancing on Thursday Night. We did this a few months ago and had a great time!

This time it should be even more fun cause there will be a live band! Dancing to canned music can be really fun, but live music... waaaay fun :)

Thursday is actually the first night of a four day swing festival that they are holding featuring live bands every night and lessons from all sorts of really good teachers. you can find out more info about all that event here:

Anyway here's what I'm thinking that we could do. Those who can will leave Spokane 4:15ish and go down to Pullman, hang out at my friends house for their spaghetti dinner that they are holding (free by the way) and then go over to Moscow and dance the night away. The cost is $10 for the entrance to the dance (really cheap for live dancing) and everything else is already covered.

We may also be able to get a ride going down later in the evening for people who have classes or work.

If you're interested in going to other days of the festival I may be able to help coordinate rides and could probably even find places for people to stay.

Maybe some people want to come down for just Thursday, some for just Friday, some for Thursday-Friday, or Saturday, I don't know. If it was just up to me I'd leave Spokane Thursday afternoon and stay till Midnight on Friday... but that's just me.

Let me know if you're interested, what day's work for you, if you can drive etc.

Spread the word as well! the more people that we can get to come the easier it will be to consolidate into rides.

Dinner and a Movie

Come hang out at the Church we'll make dinner, eat it, and then set up the projector and watch a movie big up on the wall.

If you can bring $2 for food. (still working on what we're going to make)

Bring movies if you want and we'll decide what to watch as a group.

We'll probably start the Movie at about 7:30 so if you need to you could come late or leave early.
